A humid breeze brushed past them, playful and uninvited, lifting loose strands of hair, making them dance carelessly. Soft golden light spilled across the street, touching their faces—everything glowing faintly under the after-rain sky. A little too perfect. A little too easy. --------------------------------- Not far away— Vihaan stood beside a pillar, half-hidden, half-present. Watching. His hands slipped into his pockets, shoulders slightly slouched—as if even standing straight felt like effort. His gaze didn’t move from her. Vihaan: “Main aisa kya karun… ki aapko bhi mera pyaar dikhai de?” The words barely left his lips. Rough. Tired. Almost… defeated. The rain had stopped. The world had softened. But nothing— nothing quieted the storm inside him. His dull eyes lifted briefly toward the faint rainbow stretching across the sky—colors blooming wide against the fading orange horizon. Beautiful. Distant. Untouchable. Just like her.
